ABOUT SAFEWAY CREDIT UNION
We were incorporated in 1952, approximately the same time that other Safeway Credit Union’s formed in western Canadian cities.

Safeway Credit Union - (Calgary) is a “closed bond” Credit Union operating specifically to service the financial needs of current and retired employees and their immediate families of the following:

• Southern Alberta Safeway Stores (including Cranbrook, B.C.)
• Lucerne Meat Plant
• Lucerne Bread Plant
• Lucerne Egg Plant
• Lucerne Lethbridge & Taber Plants
• Corporate Office
• MacDonalds Consolidated (warehouses & trucking)
